- Provide the Service: Process your data to generate Zia-assisted application materials, match you with relevant jobs, manage your profile, and track your applications.
- Zia Processing: Send relevant portions of your profile, resume, and job data to the AI models (OpenAI) that power Zia to generate tailored content, suggestions, and recommendations. We send only the data necessary for each specific task.
- Job Matching: Use your profile, skills, and preferences to identify and suggest relevant job opportunities from integrated job boards.
- Communication: Send account-related emails such as verification codes, multi-factor authentication codes, and important service notifications via SendGrid.
- Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns and feedback to enhance features, fix issues, and develop new functionality.
- Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to your account.
4. Third-Party Services
Zapp integrates with the following third-party services to provide its functionality:
Google OAuth
Used for account authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other Google data.
OpenAI
Used to power Zia, our in-platform assistant, for content generation, job matching, and recommendations. Relevant portions of your profile and resume data are sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI's data usage policies apply to data processed through their API.
Supabase
Used for database storage and file storage. Your data is stored securely in Supabase-managed infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.
SendGrid
Used for transactional email delivery, including verification codes and account notifications. Your email address is shared with SendGrid for this purpose.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and terms of service. We encourage you to review them. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data, including:
