Zapp is a job application assistant platform powered by Zia, our in-platform assistant, that helps users search for jobs, manage resumes and professional profiles, generate application materials, and track application status. The Service integrates with third-party job boards, AI models, and other tools to provide its functionality.

Zapp uses Zia, our in-platform assistant, which is powered by artificial intelligence including OpenAI models, to generate application materials, suggest edits, match you with jobs, and provide other recommendations. You acknowledge and agree that:
You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create on Zapp, including resumes, profile information, documents, and any other personal data. By using the Service, you grant Zapp a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. Zapp will not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for purposes unrelated to the Service.

The Zapp platform, including its design, features, branding, and underlying technology, is the property of Zapp and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without prior written consent from Zapp.
Zapp strives to provide a reliable and available service, but makes no guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Zapp is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions, downtime, or data loss. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
Zapp integrates with third-party services including Google (for authentication), OpenAI (which powers Zia), Supabase (for data storage), and SendGrid (for email communications). Your use of these services through Zapp is also subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Zapp is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zapp and its operators, developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, job opportunities, revenue, or other intangible losses. Zapp's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Zapp, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zapp and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Zapp reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms of Service, abusive behavior, fraudulent activity, or extended periods of inactivity. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and Zapp may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
